You don't extract the .iso and then burn it, unless you got the file in .zip format first. Use a burn program, such as nero to burn the image file to disk. There is usually an option for image disks and that's what you want. Once it is burned, then it should be bootable.

The ISO format is a CD image, so (unless I misunderstand you) it's unnecessary to 'unzip' it with winzip.

It's possible that your CD is not a bootable image. You may have needed to write the CD as a bootable CD. I would have thought that the Solaris ISO would be bootable, though, provided you wrote it to the CD 'as is'.

to make bootable cds from iso you are supposed to select -burn cd from iso image, from ur cd-burner software. The burner software will the ask for the location and the iso file that you want to burn the cd from.
Extacting them first may not create bootable disks.

To be basic, i'm no longer thoroughly specific, this has by no ability occurred to me. yet, besides, listed under are some issues you could try. try rebooting your computing device. try going out and paying for a version of homestead windows. it fairly is probable the final theory. If it says which you haven't any longer any working gadget, your complicated tension has probable been wiped. in case you purchase a disc for a homestead windows OS, you could placed it on your Cd-Rom tension and then run it to establish homestead windows. solid luck!!!
