I went to add-edit option then to the next link there is a option available to delete but it is not deleting the folder, actually it is not working the delete option, when i went to rename option it worked. The folders i want to delete are not the default folder given by yahoo..

Didn't you read the message you got when you press the Delete button in the web page it says,
"There was a problem:
Only empty folders can be removed. If the folder is empty, there may be a temporary problem. Please try again in a few minutes."
Empty the stuff first!

Folders will not delete unless they are EMPTY ... delete all content from the folder first
