How do you delete programs on a Mac? I'm new to the Mac world, always have had a PC where you go to Add/Delete programs, and it's as simple as that. But I'm unsure how to delete programs on a Mac...can someone help?

Yes, that's the usualy way (dragging the programs to the trash) but it's messy. While it does remove a bulk of the program from your machine, it does not remove some configuration settings it may have left behind, or tiny tidbits of the program such as fonts, parts of the program and so on. It's not as clean as Apple would have you believe. There is hope, it's called Yank, http://www.matterform.com/mac_software/uninstaller/ but it's not free. All macs NEED a dedicated uninstaller, the way Apple would have you do it is just messy. There are several other programs like Yank but none of them are free.

Drag the program's icon to the trash can - the Mac does the rest.
