i have mistakingly wrote my name in windows i want to change tht in win xp

i am not talking about the user nae
i'mtalking about the regestration name and company name

Start>Run>Regedit once in regedit
go to Edit>Find
Search for "RegisteredOrganization" then double click it and change the value there. Or Search for "RegisteredOwner" then double click it and change the value there.
Once you make changes go to File> Exit and reboot.
Upon reboot go to system properties and verify the change has taken place....;o)

Go to Control Panel under Security and you can change your name there.

Click on "Start", then go into "Control Panel" and finally in "User accounts".
In there, pick the "account to change" and you can modify your user name.

You really sjould call the Manufacturer. I believe you should start all over. Do not start off on the wrong foot....Disaster....
