I have the same problem sometimes. I can't figure it out either. I think being nice hurts you a lot of the time, since the people I know who really go places in this world are mostly evil scumbags with no conscience.

Texts are inheritantly less friendly in presentation than speaking in person; so I guess that is it. The same could've gone other way someone could've said you are mean too over the 'Net.

They think you are a pushover or have no backbone or don't respect you and finally because you let them. Put your foot down and make them respect you. Don't accept anything less.
