This has happened twice but with better results first time. I was online when the power went off in my home. When the power returned the computer would not come back on. I replaced the power supply but it still did not come back on initially. I pulled cards and the computer rebooted after pulling the modem. This has happened again but the card pull does not work. I have acquired another new power supply to ensure it's not that. The lights on the keyboard light up when I turn on the system but that's it. I've checked the power plugs with meter and there is some voltage there, not sure how much SHOULD be there. Usually if drive is bad the system will still come on, but not the case. Drive is good. Just nothing when I turn on the power. ANY suggestions to try would be appreciated.

the temp. raise too much and the cpu fan also, do u have any idea y it does that, specially when the cpu has lot of work to do like games

Last night while playing World of Warcraft I got the message "vtdisp driver has stopped working normally" and it restarted itself. Now everytime I try to log into the game my computer just restarts itself. I've been searching through forums trying to find out what to do, the only thing that I haven't tried yet is to uninstall the vtdisp driver and reinstall it. Where do I go on my computer to uninstall the driver and when I uninstall it, how do I reinstall it again? I thought when you uninstalled something, it was deleted from your computer? Please help! I don't want to f*ck up my computer but I want to play my game again!!!

I have a friend that owns a lawnmower repair business. He currently wants me to build him a website that will allow his customers to login and view the status of ther repairs. How can I revert to Google's method of taking me directly to ebay?
I have already uninstalled Google toolbar and reinstalled it- it gave me the option to make google the default search engine but nothing changed. The question has already been asked but was not properly answered.

I am using a windows XP. I can't even use the right mouse click on the desktop (the mouse is new). All I can do to access my files is CTRL * ALT * DEL and then I choose new task. I cant use control panel neither, i need to delete some softwares but i can't find it.....

Hi I hope someone can help me. I have a Toshiba Portege 7010CT Laptop computer with Windows XP. I also have a desktop computer. I bought a router and my desktop is hooked up to my router but I cannot get my Laptop to recognize the internet connection. My only real question is do I need a network card and if not how can I get my Laptop to recognize my internet connection ? I connect to the internet VIA cable modem. Has microsoft gone to the Dogs or Something?

Lately, I can't update my windows xp using updates from my control panel.

Now I update to IE 7 Beta 2 and the stinking thing tells me
the online service is unavailable. But when I switch back to
older version of IE, it works.

Finally, everytime I find spyware on my system, it is linked
to the IE browser.

Is Microsoft just useless?

I have a panasonic fax machine that's about 1 yr old. My printer is broken and I cant print the document. I want to send a document from my computer to my fax machine so that I can fax to someone. How do I do that. I think there is a way to connect them together and send the document to my fax/copier machine. Thanks.
