no. it's used for wired networking. it is the device that has a port that looks a little wider than a phone jack.

It's a NIC: network interface card. Indeed it looks like a phone connector, but a bit wider. Because it's an intel, most probably it's on the motherboard itself, close to the USB-ports.
It's WAY more secure to use internet via a NIC then via a wireless connection.

It is used for WIRED networking. Nothing to do with wireless.

dial-ud...its a card for a telephone jack...hook-up..
