Many people have told me that it's not safe to have a MySpace, but yet tons of people do and don't get hurt (emotionally or physically). If I got one, would it be risky? Are other blogs safer than MySpace? If I want a blog, do you have any suggestions on safe ones?

Myspace is only as safe as you can make it. If you are worried about safety and want a myspace, then you can have your page blocked. that way only the people you let see it can see it. also dont give away persponal info like phone number, address, etc. If you are smart, myspace is as safe as sitting. it just depends on what you do/say. I like myspace, and i use it safely. all of the people who have ever had problems...its THEIR fault.

I accept as true with you, yet maximum center schoolers do no longer understand the cautions of being online. I definantly think of that's ok for 11-13 3 hundred and sixty 5 days olds to have suitable photos and purely human beings they understand extra, and a private profile. yet there are nonetheless plenty that bypass over that boundary and that's the concern. Ultimatley, i think of that's ok for center schoolers to have a myspace, in the event that they could be reponsible adequate to have one.

I really enjoy myspace.
You can not only communicate with your friends, and strangers all around the world, but also listen to music, and watch movie trailers.
Myspace is safe, just try not to give ' too much' information to a stranger! I know many people who use it - not only teenagers.
A lot of adults and ' golden age ' people use it too.

Guns don't kill people. People holding guns do. There is nothing wrong with Myspace. People who get "hurt" or endangered on myspace have done so because of their own poor judgement.

well if u dnt give out too much personal stuff then it iz safe, a good tip would be to add only people u actual know. so that way only they can read ur blogs/bulletins/profile (if its private)
