Appearance of original icons keep changing to an E icon. I want all icons to stay in their original form. I want them to keep their original look instead of all looking the same with an E.

I set the icon to a custom icon I make with a freeware program, IconArt. I create an icon with 3 sizes. The 16x16 size is what is used on IE Favorites. You can import graphic files, so I usually download a banner or graphic from the site and edit it to the three sizes and put it in the IconArt program.
It is a good program and freeware is priced right for me!

Question is kind of vague. What did you do to change the icons in the first place? If you need to, just right click each individual icon and select properties. Then click change icon.

1. Right-Click the icon
2. Select Properties
3. Click Change icon
4. Select one
5. Press and release Enter twice
