My speakersdon't work!! I have built in speakers in my computer screen and now all of the suddne they don't work, I turned the volume up all the way i went to volume control settings and everything! they still don't work. Speakers are very important to me, I listen to a lot of music and I really wat them to work! What can I do???? Please serious help, no fooling around.

I have a NEC XP17 from 1996. It still works great. Now I'm buying a new PC. I need to decide if I want to get a sleek new monitor in a bundle deal or use the old one. Is it just a matter of having the right cable? Or are their other factors?

My Grandad has been having problems with his internet since his NTL digibox broke and was replaced by the NTL man. Now no websites can be accessed without a content advisor pop up coming up asking for the password. He cannot remember setting this, although he was asked for a password for something, he has a few ideas as to what the password could be but none of them work. Is there anyway you could disable this content advisor pop up and get rid of the password? There is nothing he can do until this is got rid of as NO websites whatsoever can be viewed unless we find the password, not even google. Pleas help! :)

There was a program out there for password hacking. It can crack passwords that are already inputted and that appear like this *****. The program has a little crosshair that scrolls over the **** and reveals the password. What is this software called.

What commands would I need to write a program 'doit' that takes another Unix/Linux command as an argument and executes that command. For example executing

doit cat /etc/motd

would invoke the cat command on the file /etc/motd which will print the current "message of the day".

There is a static IP address which works fine on windows XP. This means all the default gateway,dns etc are correct. However on Fedora its not able ping the DNS itself.

BTW the static IP is from airtel
