Yes, they can, try locating a facility that recycles them, this helps too keep the cost down on the buyers end in the long run, and it's the ergonomically thing to do..

You should call your local dispoal or town office to find out how they dispose of this equipment. It shouldn't be just thrown in the garbage.

List it on craigslist.com in your local free section someone will gladly pick it up from you for free!!

no but they can be recycled call your local recycling center. Perhaps you could donate it to someone who could fix it.

yoou can sell the parts of it that work or recycle it but i woul reccomend fixing it.
