I have some audio files on my computer that I need to convert to MP3s to so I can download them to my phone. Any suggestion on programs I can find?

IThe thought struck me though I am not sure.

I am good at teaching science, maths, chemistry, etc at middle school level. I can also do office work. Please advise. Also tell me if ay hardware is needed and how will get paid.

I would like to know why Yahoo returns, most of the time, less results than Google when I use the same keywords.

For example, if I search for "Google" and "Yahoo" in both sites, the results are the following as of today (26-aug-2006):

== YAHOO.com ==
yahoo - 980,000,000 pages
google - 526,000,000 pages

== GOOGLE.com ==
yahoo - 1,450,000,000 pages
google - 2,700,000,000 pages

The same occurs with other words such as "house", "pesticide", or "windows". Sometimes, Google's results are over two times larger than Yahoo's ones.

Any ideas?

excluding SATA, are all IDE types compatible with each other? For instance, I have a ATA 100 hdd, will it work with any motherboard that has IDE on it? I have the ATA cable and will it work with UDMA??

so i can have two usb ends on one cord to connect to two pc's? Would that work to have the two computers networked, becuase my one pc does not have a spot for a ethernet line. please help me figure something out to do.

has anyone used a browser called"ace explore",i have used it for 2 days now and i cant belive the speed of it,it is like lightning,pages load in milliseconds and i only have a 8gb( 3gb actual) download speed and i can download at 550kbps
has anyone used this browser,and what did you think of it,also is there any dangers of having multiple browsers as i have internet explorer,firefox,flock,ace explorer and i very rarely get spyware or viruses and if i do ,they are in internet explore

Whenever I pull up the internet a little sign comes up saying "I'm sorry for the incovenice but we must shut down" It asks if i want to send a notice to Microsoft internent. I am so sick of the internet window closing down. I can never get anything done. What is wrong?

Okay, just figuring out PHP, SQL, Apache. I have it all running right, localhost is all set up. I have made a bunch of PHP files and I'm trying to test a simple user registration page.

Everytime I fill out the information (name, email, password, etc.) I click the button "register me" and a box pops up asking me to open the associated PHP file. Why? Why wouldnt the PHP script just run and create the user registration in the database? It always asks me if I want to open or save the PHP file.

Here's my HTML since I know this is somehow the problem.
