Can one earn through the internet?

IThe thought struck me though I am not sure.

I am good at teaching science, maths, chemistry, etc at middle school level. I can also do office work. Please advise. Also tell me if ay hardware is needed and how will get paid.

I get e-mails all the time about earning money on the net but I'm real leary because a lot of these things have virus's in them AND their scams. I'd be very very careful.

Of course you can earn money through the internet. Yes, you do need hardware, since you'll need a computer. How you get paid depends on how you set it up.

You can make a site that draws traffic, maybe a math or science tutoring site, and run ads. You get paid by the advertisers if your site visitors follow the ads. Look up "affiliate programs" to get an idea of some ways to do this.

You can make money with a telecommuting job. They're rare but getting a little easier to find these days. Your best bet is to check job sites like Dice.com or Guru.com. In that case, you're paid by whoever employs you.

This will not work for everyone. First I tell people you need to learn how to play Poker, no this not what you do, but, you need to understand Poker to understand Stocks. Now, Investing in Stocks takes too much money and time, so, what do you do? You buy and sell currencies on the world currency exchange (FOREX). Remember, this not for everyone. It works just like Poker. You need to know when to take a small loss and get out and Stay when you have a winner and make your profit. If a person is Disciplined and Patient, it not hard to make $50-100 a day. What hurt most people is they get greedy and not know when to take a profit and keep wanting more until a price turn and they lose what they could have had.
