how do i deal with a problem in media player?

It is possible that there are too many background programs running, but you should make sure to Defragment your hard drive (s) and run disk cleanup utility, then make sure your version of windows is up-to-date. Maybe these won't help but they certainly can't hurt and may even speed your computer up if it starting to slow down.

Do you have a bunch of random programs running, which could be spyware or maybe a virus? It could be that or your computer has too many programs running at once that anything you open fails.
