We do not have a paypal account. We are just trying to leave feedback, but we are having problems logging into ebay. We can put in username and password, but then it directs us to a page that asks for personal info, ss#, credit card info, pin numbers and more. Didn't send any of this info to them, but is anyone else having this problem?? Please help.

My kids were given an Apple computer from school (they got new ones this year). It has Mac as the operating system and has a lock on all the controls. I can't even add games for them to play. The computer asks for an administrative disk to change or add anything. I would love to put windows on this computer, is that possible?

I am going to install something new because right now I am using a security suite that is offered for free by my internet provider and it does not seem to be working well. What do you recommend I use? What is the best out there and why do you say that it is?
I have heard that AVG is good and it is free... but I am willing to pay for the best so that my computer will run normally. Please give me good reasons on why I should use the product you recommend. Thank you.

My printer (HP Deskjet 722C) has only plug in for LPT1 whatever cable and back and front of new computer only has USB ports. I am needing the cheapest fix since the new computer is a recent expensive acquisition and easiest - cause it's taken many hours to get this computer back on line and set up and I am tired of messing with it. :)

First, let's disgard the obvious browser-related stuff (e.g. "Don't use IE, u luser") and get to the meat...

Let's say I start a web site and am able to justify advertising on it. Instead of peddling my site directly to advertisers, I arrange a business relationship with an organization (e.g. Google Ads) to provide advertising on my site for a cut of the click-thru-traffic pie.

How do I know that they won't present ads which in and of themselves install malware on my audiences' machines?

I'm not talking about when a user clicks-thru, I'm talking about a situation where the HTML for the ad itself includes an ActiveX control that installs spyware or other malware on the user's machine.

Is there a way that I, as the website owner, can automagacially check the included ads to ensure they don't have malware? or do I just have to trust the outsourcer/have it in the contract and make sure I can collect on breach of contract (e.g., don't go offshore for my outsourcer)?

Does it count if you use the laptop everyday for many hours, and the computer gets destroyed-I don't download anything, and I have protection, and I have all my pics on a flash drive.

PS. Is it healthy or can you get sick from using the computer for hours?
