Ok to format a drive go to my computer and right click the drive and format it. Actually when istallling an os theres an option that you will format the entire computer? just format it and all data will be formated. Remember to press F8 to run the bios and change the booting process to cd rom and place the os and format the computer and thats it. Remember the best way to format the computer is reinstall the OS and take the option of erasing the entre disk for a new data.

BE VERY AFRAID. Formatting leads to loss of all data. Before formatting, make sure to BACKUP!
