I guess I didn't really explain myself. I was trying to apply for a part time job on a website. I sent an email to the person from the site and it sent from my inbox at my home. Now I am afraid I will start getting SPAM!!!! I am not doing anything illegal like some of you are implying.

Go to your mail room, click on OPTION to the left of you mail, click GENERAL PREFERENCE, in this window you will have all of your information showing, at the top you will see the email address that sends your mail off, you can delete that and leave blank, then to the person that you send mail to will not be able to see who sent the mail to them..

Set up an email address with Yahoo using a fake name, and send it from that.

Even Yahoo's disposable e-mail address will show your PCs IP address in the header and can be tracked back to you.

Yahoo has disposible email addresses.If you download the toolbar click on mail ,then disposible address

Why would you want to do that?..You can create an e-mail account with any web-mail service and use fake names etc..then no one will know who the e-mail is from..but again..why do you want to do this?

go to a public library - set up a hotmail account at the library - send the resume - done!
