Sony is good but expensive. As far as i know BenQ is cheaper than Sony but speaking of quality, i don't know. However, considering that BenQ is now already manufacturing lots of electronic gadgets and they are also well known, I think BenQ is a better buy.

Well, Sony has been in the camera business a lot longer. But what is better depends on the user, you.
The first thing is to decide how you are going to use it.
Are you going to print on paper or make pics for the web or computer screen? Are you going to carry it all the time in your pocket or take it to special events with extra batteries and maybe a tripod or filters?
Are you just taking pics of friends or do you want to do scenery as well?
It is too simple to just say which is better. You need to do some research at a camera site and select all the factors that concern you. Let the site do the work, and you can have a really good idea of what you should get.
I like to take pro-level pics of my tours. I use a Finepix S-7000 and love it. It is a large camera that fits my large hands. It has lots of buttons and zooms and stuff. I carry it in a bag over my shoulder. It costs over $500 US. I like it very much. My wife uses a Sony that will fit in a large pocket. The pictures are very good. It is still too large to carry everywhere. Some cameras will fit in a shirt pocket.
;-D So, it is up to you what is best. The URL is a great way to compare

I saw a lot of answer that says Sony. and you know what they are right. The alternative to Sony is either Canons, Nikons or Casio and not Benq.
