My limewire runs... but wont connect. The meter in the left hand corner says "starting connection" but never connects!!! I've even tryed turning off firewall. Very frustraited plz help!!!!

Turn your firewall off then open limewire, then once its connected turn your firewall back on; if this doesn't work try checing Firewall configuration in limewire GO TO >>TOOLS>>OPTIONS>>ADVANCED>>FIREWALL CONFIG>>
make sure its Listening To port 45361 then make sure its on UPnP
on th PROXY Check its on NO PROXY. IF thats good try punching a hole through your firewall in other words set up your firewall to let limewire have access. also go to this link this should fix your problem if my suggestions didn't work

You may have set it to not connect on startup, therfore, you have to manually click connect. You could look in the options menu of the program.

Try to check your connection because I never experience this problem.
