i have works 8 for laptop but the cd wont load as theres a few scratches on it,is there anyway to repair it or do i have to shell out for a knew copy?

I have these two movie files of one GIG each. I would like to burn them as if they were one. Is there a program or anything that would allow me to merge these files together into one. If so, which?
If not, how could I do it?
I tried copying both files as separate entities to the dvd and I only had access to one of them. When it came time for the DVD player to switch to the second file to give continuity to the film, it just froze.

I tried to reformat the hard drive to use Windows XP Pro, but it kept freezing up on me and I wasn't able to reformat. I tried to reformat it using Windows 2000, and although I was able to do that, once I started using it for awhile, the computer froze on me. Then I changed the hard drive and I reformatted this new hard drive. The computer is still freezing. I don't know if there is something I can do to fix this problem.

I have some important documents that was emailed to me and that i would like to look up, but i have to do so by using acr abobe 7.0, but i can't seem to pull it up. Webroot Spy Sweeper Internet Essentials Suite....is that a good product? i juss bought a new computer for the 2 time..my last ocmptuer broke down with viruses and everything. it got fixed manytime but it always catches viruses. and now im thinkin that i need somthin to protect my new computer. i did a lot of research and i can to "Webroot Spy Sweeper Internet Essentials Suite" thats the only on that i havn't tried yet....any ideas?

I create website not too long ago, and for some odd reason whenever i use this template for me it takes 5-10 seconds to load on speed 5mbps download.

I have at least 3 old macintosh computers, 2 of which are not even internet capable, the other one is 8 years old! What can I do with them? I know donate the, but every place says that they can't use computers that old. Any ideas, other than throw them out in the garbage, which is not good.
