I want to know how to do a disk clean up step by step ?

Go to the START button
Go to Programs
Go to Accessories (folder)
Go to System Tools (folder)
Click on Disk Cleanup

After that is done, go throught the same menu selections and pick Disk Defragmenter

Windows 2000, XP go start -> All programs -> Accessories -> System Tools -> Disk Cleanup -> It will scan your hard drive and then ask if you want to delete temporary Internet files as well as cookies etc. Click yes and your done.

Double click My Computer on the desktop .

Right click the drive you want to perform the clean up on -> Properties

in the new box that opens you will see a button called "Disk Cleanup "

Hit that.

after that just select the option that you want cleaned and press ok.

Voila your task is done :)

What OS do you have? In XP, click Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools>Disk Cleanup.

or type "cleanmgr" on run option
On the appeared dialog box, selected the drive that you wish to clean.

first u should have a clean-up tool like system mechanic or use one that exist in Windows.go to start>all programs>accessories>system tools>disk clean up.there u choose Ur drive and go on...

Go to Start-->Programs-->Accessories-->System Tools-->Disk Cleanup. Let it calculate then check what you want to clean up and then go. You can also use CCleaner...it can also clean up your registry by fixing issues with it.
