i pressed fix now, but it has been going on for over an hour is this normal, how do i find out the problem

nortons is the big problem delete that junk and dont get macfee or avg try the all in one

download xoftspy422 and install it then run it stop the scan and click on scan settings tick every box and click on where it says >> click here to select a folder then tick the (c) thats your hard drive if you have 2 hard drives tick the 2 of them then click ok
then click start when the scan is done click on remove tab

Could be that the anti-virus is disabled, needs a update and you don't have it set to auto update, a scan past due, need to renew subscription. Open it up just click on it to open the program should tell you normally marked in red

Your first problem is having Norton. Get something like PCcillin or System Mechanic.

Norton is crap. Use AVG...it's free and works great!

the only way is uninstall and install again.norton is not stable.I refer u to Kaspersky
