The free trial of my McAfee Security Center has just run out. I've been quite happy with its performance so far, but was looking to buy a new one-year subscription from Amazon and the reviews were atrocious! I don't mind buying some security software, but what's the best to get? Thanks.

I need a quick way to make money that doesn't involve smithing or mining, because those are my lowest levels! If you do play runescape, please add tigeress93 to your list, because thats my name on there and stuff! I would appreciate it extrememely if you gave me free stuff that was actually worth something, but that would be a great loss to you, so im not really expecting it! and if u work with real runes, could you explain to me what they are, and how they work? When I turn my desktop computer on it just sounds like it is running but won't start up. The hard drive light blinks a few times then goes off. My mouse won't light up but when I plug it into my laptop it lights up. All the cables are connected and everything. Could this be something wrong with the power in it or something else?

Thanx for all the great & scarey replies. Although I would like to add a bit more detail. Please keep in mind that I am computer illiterate. If a certain person were to attempt this, it would be for the purpose of spying on me as a form of "revenge". My computer holds no financial records, etc. so there would be nothing to gain, other than a sick thrill of knowing what I am doing on the computer. In the past, I had communicated w/ this person on the computer-would that make this scenario easier for the person to gain access? This is a very sick person, who may be intent on conducting any form of "revenge" possible to hurt me. We have no contact, but their threat of seeking revenge is obviously on my mind. So I ask again-with this additional info for you all-Could they be watching me thru my computer? Would I know? I do have firewall protection, but thats all I know. Thank you all very much .....

I've tried making a template but the information on the contract still shifts . For instance ....Name: ______________ which is where I would enter the name. Seems like it should be easy enough but when I enter the name all the info on the original contract that follows the name shifts. I guess what I want is for the contract to be a form that will let me fill in the blanks. I'm sure there is something that I'm missing here but I just can't figure it out. I'd appreciate any suggestions. Thanks.
