How do I add the auto-correcting option to my word?

my word programme does not automatically correct mistakes, how do I insert this option

BUT it is really annoying when this option is used and I turned it off. I find it stops the writing flow. Much better to use the "abc" correction button every so often.

In your word program, go to Tools, click on Auto Correct and then make sure you check the box that says replace text as you type. You may have to turn it on every time you open Word.

Go to tools menu in Word, then select options, from options go to Spelling and Grammar Tab, and put a check over check as you type options,

You need a newer version of Word probably.
