Yes you can build laptops from scratch, but the question is where you can buy a casing of it with build-in LCD?. The inner parts of a hardware are easy to find. The cost is much expensive than laptops in market. Better buy a branded laptop and forget it of building by urself. Deskstop is much better to build than laptop. Hope this simple answer helped you alot.

you can build a laptop and what ever you ask want in it is where your have to put up the cash the more better the laptop the more the price go build your laptop online and when you done that call them and make your order then if you want you dont have to pay anything for 12 months just let them know you want to have now and pay in 12 months deal you can pay just befor the 12months is up the full price
build your laptop online but really you get a better deal from a desktop you get a more fast desktop pc and for less the price then you do from a laptop

You technically can, but laptops are made specifically for the parts in them, so you will be getting the same parts as if you would just buy one anyway. I suggest just buying one and saving the hassle.

sure you can, but its more complicated than desktop computers, cause you can't change the following:
1. Motherboard.
2. VGA card.
3. Monitor.
