On startup I get a msg that the above has encountered a problem and needs to close...After hitting "don't send" the msg clears and the system continues to work. Any suggestions/solutions would be appreciated.

I have an LG burner, and sometimes in the middle of burning a movie or CD, the computer will just shut down. Can someone tell me why? Could it be that the burner is too fast for it to handle? If so, is there a speed patch or something you can put on it? I dont know if thats what the problem is, but I don't know why it keeps causing the computer to shut down. I've ruined numerous DVD's and CD's. It's really starting to piss me off! Thanks

My computer's max memory capacity is 256, and the hardrive i currently have now is 30gb. If i upgrade to a bigger hardrive will i be able to upgrade the memory to 512 or will it always stay at 256 max since it is the computer's max ability? I have windows Me.

i just reformatted a pc with win2k
i joined the domain
i can see all network drives
i can access all network drives and the directories on the drives
i can install all networked apps
but i cant get on the internet with that pc
ive done a release renew
everything is set to autodetect proxy
i have all the lights on, on the NIC
im an IT guy at consulting firm i do this all the time
and ive never had this problem

Which do you prefer? I have a Windows PC & a Mac..i prefer the mac since you dont get any viruses (very rare) and it works faster & easier. but, almost everybody is using windows..its more compatible with other programs.

I am creating a site that is basically a web-based RSS feed reader. Users can add feeds to their "homepage" from my feed database or enter their own URL. Is it dangerous to allow people to parse any feed? If so, is there anyway to protect against the dangers? Thanks for the help. I'm using MagpieRSS for feed parsing.

Okay, here's my problem...
I want to download Flash 9...and I tried to install it on the Adobe website...I couldn't and I made sure my pop-up blocker was off and that my security level was defaulted to medium......then it said to unistall my older version (Flash 6) ....then i restarted the computer and it still didn't work!! ughhh (and i have administrative access )

Then, I tried to download it on a different site, so I went to ww.softwarepatch.com...I was halfway through the installation process but then a pop-up showed up saying...

Error 1904.Module
C:\WINDOWS\system32\Macromed\Flash\Flash9.ocx
failed to register. HRESULT-2147220473. Contact
your support personnel.

Please what problem is this adressing and how do I come about to fix it..

Please I am begging for help..I want this thing installed!!
