I downloaded a program from wincustomize, it was a program to change your logon screen. I downloaded a logon screen, then decided that I didn't want the program anymore. Now I still have the same logon screen that I downloaded. I redownloaded the program to see if I could change it back to the default logon screen, but when i tried to change it, it didn't change back. Is there a way to get it back to the way that it was? Meaning the default windows logon screen.

I've got my dads PC that is infected with virueses etc and has been running slow for ages now. I've taken everything off that he needs and am ready to create a new partition and reload everything back on. But when i boot from a XP Home CD I have (I'll be using the Genuine XP Key on the case), it starts analysing hardware but then just reboots, asking me to press any key t boot from CD again?? Whats going on? I've even tried a freshly formatted (in NTFS) HD in there, in case the original is currupted in some way but this time an error appears before rebooting stating "NTCongif" is missing. Any help or suggestions appreciated. before you ask the compnay that my Dad got this PC off did not give him any CD's.... not even the OS CD. i give that im not a computer fanatic, so my problem may be stupid, however, i dont know why but now whenever i open up a file in my computer the SEARCH window always comes up instead of the file components , and its geting so annoying, the only way to get into the file i want is by right clicking it and selecting "explore". is there an off switch or somthing for this ?

I'm new at using Windows Movie maker. I'm making a slideshow and I imported an audio file, but for some reason it got shortened and the whole song is not played. When I wave my pointer over the song, I can see it's shorter in duration than the original song. What am I doing wrong?

It is the two bars just below the BACK button that changed and I want my old bar back. It had the house so I could easily go back to my Home Page. The new bars have customize links, joke search, smileys etc.

This headset, made by Dasan, partially works. When I press the mute or vol up/down buttons on its control panel, on myscreen, it shows the sound muted on the sound manager icon on the taskbar and the sliders move up and down on the sound manager screen, but no sound comes through the earpiece and the mike doesn't seem to work - I have the compatible software and service pack 2 which is reccommended. It is supposed to be P&P so there is no drivers to install.
Can anyone suggest anything?

my computer is running really slow. I already cleaned it at and all that stuff. I have avast and it says no virus. But something isnt right. I dont know how to find adware or spyware, and get rid of it. I have a gaming computer so it is supposed to be very fast, it is but the last 2 days have been terrible programs arent responding, when i click on something it takes forever for it to load. i dont want to take it in on warrenty i want to fix it myself can someone tell me how to fix it myself? thank you

Norton Anti virus has live updates. Once I installed them I could not access any secure sites like wells fargo, Ebay, or my email. I have looked at several things that may have caused this. I am sure that it involves Norton somehow. If anyone is familiar with this problem and Norton software please help. Thanks.
