my lasp top is forever poping up with these errors and asks me to click yes or no if i want to proceed, but i have to keep clicking on them until the page fully loads. im not sure what settings i need to amend to stop these from poping up, including the security certificate error pages, which advises me that there might be a security issue with the web sites certificate. they drive me mad!!

I was wondering whether the new Intel Core 2 (2.4Ghz) processor is worth the upgrade or will dual core 3.4 Ghz do for my graphics and animation design?

Both processors will be used in conjuction with 4GB DDR ram and 500GB hard disk, and a 256MB 7900 nVidia graphics card :D

Every time I shut down my computer, a box pops up that says this program is not responding and I have to close it, but I can't find it anywhere and I have no idea what it is for. I've checked in the Add/Remove programs and there is never anything running on my task bar with that name.

If you've heard of this program, know what it is for and/or know how to get rid of it, please let me know. Thanks!

At times when I switch on my laptop it says " beginning dump of physical memory." I am running Windows XP and the computer has a celeron chip. Could this be due to a virus, because I have a Trojan virus on my laptop which Norton cannot remove.

What is the cause of the cause of this and how can I remove this problem? Any freeware or shareware or trial versions of software that can deal with it will be appreciated.

I woke from a nap yesterday and walked into the living room only to find my son`s girlfriends diet coke turned over and spilling into my computer while it was still on and connected to the net. Due the the dusty conditions where I live, I operate with an open case because I have to clean the machine about 6 times a year. She (the girlfriend) was nowhere around...and I immediately shut er (the computer) down. I unplugged everything, drained the diet coke out, and set my system out in shade under an oak tree to dry out. Took another nap and woke up to the sound of rain. I ran outside, grabbed the computer and brought it inside where I placed it in front of the Air Conditioner. Two hours later I connected all the wires back up and turned her on. That was yesterday and here I am using her to ask questions. I refer to my machine as her because my wife says "she" (my computer) is my mistress. Her reply to this story was that the mistess deserved to die so that my wife would get more.........

I used to have Macs when I was growing up, but when I moved out I could only afford a low-level PC. I got a better job now. So I want to get back on the Mac Bandwagon. I am using windows XP and the anti-virus I am using is Norton. However I have a trojan virus on my computer which Norton cannot remove. I have downloaded a trial copy of Trojan Remover, but when I scan my computer it cannot remove the trojan virus.
What can I do?

I have a Toshiba Tecra 8200. The other day I got an error messege "Warning: Remuse Error Press any key to continue" This is when I started my computer. Then I was having trouble getting it to power up at all. Now it wont' even turn on. What could it be? Software? Hardware? How can I fix it?
