if you are unable to see the hidden file, first go to My Computer then from the Tools Menu select the View tab and enable "view all files". now you will get to see the file. right-click on it, go to properties and uncheck the "hidden" button.

If it's a file you hidden and now you want to "unhide" it, open the folder with "Windows Explorer"; if you don't see the file you want to modify, click the "View" menu and select the "Folder Options" command. In the box that appears, click the "View" tab and, in the "Advanced settings" box find and select the "Show all Files" connand. Now click "OK". You should see now the hidden file. Right-click that file, click the "Properties" command and clear the "Hidden" checkbox.
