I tried to set up a new outlook express e-mail address for my Mum and it didn't work. Now she can't send mail because it can't find her server - fsnet. I have no idea what to do - anyone out there?

P.S My Mum just wants it to go back to the way it was, not start a new account or anything - would that mean getting a new address and all that tedious gubbins?

Try either using (smtp.fsnet) or, (mail.fsnet) as outgoing server

I would not suggest that you open a new ID because that would defeat the main cause. What instead you can try is set up the mail ID in Outlook Express properly.

In Outlook Express set up a new account giving you Mum's ID and then please check the POP3 & SMTP port addresses. You must give proper details there.

Open the email-id in andy browser and then go to the options and try to find out the pop3 addresses. Write that in outlook and then try.

Email is the most widely used application on the internet. Hotmail, Yahoo mail, Gmail are the most popular free web based email service providers. Paid email services can be accessed using email clients like Outlook and Outlook Express. I have found more information on how email works and how
