If you don't want to install any softwares/firewalls etc. then try following steps....
1. Goto Internet Explorer Menu--> Tools-->Internet Options
2. Here you select Security Tab
3. Click on Red Restricted Sites ICON.
4. Then click the Sites button
5. Add all the sites which you want to block.....
And hey... you are done without spending a single penny...
I hope I have solved your problem....
Cheers.... :)

You can configure your firewall to not allow access to that IP address (assuming you're a safe computer user and have a firewall active).
Depending upon what firewall you use (a software program, or a hardware router with one built it), configuration can be very easy...or not so easy.
If you know what I'm talking about, consult the "help" function for your particular firewall. If none of this makes much sense you'd best consult a technician, or call customer service for your firewall solution.

1. go to "Tools at the top of your browser.
2. then go to "internet options " in the drop down window.
3. click on the "security" tab
4. then click on the red circle with the minus sign in it
5. click on the button that says "sites"
6. type in your restricted site address.. ie www.whatever.com
that is the way to do it through Windows.
you can also do it through your firwall.
i can help you with that if i know what firewall you have

You can buy Norton Internet Security or Mcafee Internet Security, both come with Parental controls, or if it is just for secuirty reasons, then you can add the site to the IE's "Restricted Sites."

Go to Tools, click on internet options, go to the Content tab, click there, then, you'll see a slot to type in the name of the website you want to disallow. Type in the url, then click on Never, as in Never Allow this Website, and there you have it..
then, of course, okay out and you're good to go.
