I have been searching for a website that offers background checks but can't afford huge (over $50) fees. I need to do criminal ect checks on a person who could be a danger to my granddaughter. It is so hard to tell which sites are legitimat and who will just take your money and give inacurate information. I wish I could afford more. My granddaughter deserves it. Thank you.

I want to be able to go where I want on the computer and not have everyone in my house knowing where I've been.My husband is good on the computer .. I am not ... when I look up something ..then go back later to type something in the seach bar say the "R" then everything starting with the letter "R" that has been typed in drops down so anyone can see what I or anyone else have been searching for.I need to know how to erase that. I've uploaded a lot of my cds to iTunes and they're saved as mpeg-4 files. I need to convert them to mp3 files so that I can open them with Windows Mediaplayer and from there upload them to my mp3-player (not an iPod). Is there a program for this? The only way that works so far is uploading all the songs again and that really takes a lot of time and disk space because if you upload them to Windows Mediaplayer they're automatically saved as wma files, not mp3.

I am working on a PC that will now power on since a recent storm. I switched out the power supply with a spare one which is 100 watts less than the original one. I only plugged it into the motherboard and hard drive. It does light up in the front and I can hear the power supply working now. I hear no other sounds though. Is that because I have to get the correct watts and plugged it up all the way? How would I know if there is a problem with the motherboard?

I am trying to create something using photoshop 7. I want what is on the screen to be a real scale... so if I want it to print as being 1 inch... I want it to be 1 inch on the screen... also I want to be able to make it any bigger than the size of the paper... 8 x 11.5
I have used the rulers and the grid, but it doesn't seem to be a true scale.

I know this is a basic question, so much so that I can't find it in tutorials... Thanks for the assistance.

I run Mozilla & Firefox - not internet explorer yet keep getting pop ups from them - the main one being from some ad company that then switches to a loan company. How can I stop them? Also noted I have something in my user docs that I dont recognise....

I repartioned my harddrive and re installed a blank version of Windows XP onto it. I had my 30 day grace period, but like an idiot I skiped it over and over, and now that I absolutly need it I no longer have my code. Is there anyway I can activate it stll, like will another CoA code activate it? Or do I need that specific code?
