rubbing alchol ,,, q-tips.
soak a wash cloth in Rub-Alch,

remove ink cartridges (carefull not to touch the green board on the side)
rub the bottom of the cart- where the noozels are in the wash cloth

your going to need to OPEN the Hatch (on top of printer) so you can see the cart- print path,(how the cart- goes back and forth

Next step is tricky and I am not sure How to say it...

watch the path, on the far right of the path (you might need a flash light to see it)
(you will also need to push cartridges out of the way)

there is a small black flap about an inch long , ink tends to builup on it, soak a q-tip in alchol and run it back and forth the length of the rubber black thing, it will take you several q-tips

you frist remove catridge from printer.
you have to option

1.you can clean the nozel with alcohal
or
2. put catridge in to boil water for 5-6 minute
after that clean nozel with cotton

Make a printer self test, and try to push it a bit

Check the Epson web site for your model. They will have instructions there. (As you did not list model number can not be more specific. Each is different.)
