I've uploaded a lot of my cds to iTunes and they're saved as mpeg-4 files. I need to convert them to mp3 files so that I can open them with Windows Mediaplayer and from there upload them to my mp3-player (not an iPod). Is there a program for this? The only way that works so far is uploading all the songs again and that really takes a lot of time and disk space because if you upload them to Windows Mediaplayer they're automatically saved as wma files, not mp3.

Try this program called CDEX. I'm not sure if it'll do the job, but I think it can recode sound files if you look under Convert.
