Background for what?
If you mean the main desktop, right click on the desktop and select rpoperties. Go to the appearance tab and you can change the color of the desktop background and many other things there.
If that is not what you meant, please post more details.

Which Background you are talking about? That might be one of the ---
1. Computer Desktop
2. Window Background (Windows 9x, 2000, XP) Or
3. Your Character Background.........
I hopefully assume 1 or 2
If it is 1, then just right click on Desktop -->Properties -->Desktop -->Colors (You can also set any picture as Desktop wallpaper)
If it is 2, then just right click on Desktop -->Properties -->Appearance -->Advanced --> Select 'Window' in Item field and change the color and
If it's 3, then ...........I can't help it

Right click on your desktop and choose properties. Go to to the "desktop" tab and choose the "white" from the color selection tab on the right side. Then select "none" from the background selection area.

just go to d source file&change the BGCOLOR to white.if the value of d bgcolor is a hexadecimal no. then change it to "#000000"

If so, change it in the body tag.
