I repartioned my harddrive and re installed a blank version of Windows XP onto it. I had my 30 day grace period, but like an idiot I skiped it over and over, and now that I absolutly need it I no longer have my code. Is there anyway I can activate it stll, like will another CoA code activate it? Or do I need that specific code?

The way legally around this is to repartition the hard drive because that will reset the time limit for 30 days. You could also ask your friends for this code but there is no way around this.

All you need to do is call the phone number that comes up and do a phone activation. Microsoft is very easy going about these kinds of things.

There's a free utility to find your Product Key for Windows XP. It's small in size, free to download, safe, and works well. You download it, double click on it, and it'll show you your CD Key. It's called "Keyfinder", and is available at the below link.

There is no legal way to do it besides buying another key. If you use a key off the internet you will not have a genuine copy of windows.
