- i have to write a database accessing program in java
- i need to create a report (extracting data from the database) and print it in an A4 paper format
- i use a JDBC conexion on MySQL
- i can retrive the date, but i do not know ho to format it to fit an A4 paper
- i do not know the actual command for printing from java (System.out.println() is for the display; what is for the printer?)

I have a win xp pro SP2 installation disk. My desktop already has Win XP pro sp2. This computer has not been formated for last 3 years or so. So, the reason for me wanting to delete everything and wanted to start fresh. Ok this is what happens, I set the bios boot sequence as CD first, followed by hard drive and floppy respectively.
Now when I boot, the thing goes straigt to win Xp login. There is no sign of any thing remotely to do with the XP setup process.

However, once I am logged in I can initiate installation, but then it will keep all the old files which beats my purpose of reinstallation which was to delete old partitions and everything and start new....
Please advice and help...

how can i reinstall xp when I cant even boot from it?

Well I have a Report and wants to send to my custostomers. Those customer's emails are listed in the same Access databases. How I can Send that Specific Report (Say particulathar Invoice) to each customer using Database Table??

I know this sounds like a dumb question, but when I go to set a homepage the bit where you put in the address you want is faded as are the buttons that you click to set the page. I can't seem to select anything to change. The apply button is also faded out. At the moment the page seems to be set to some microsoft redirection page that doesn't exist. When I type straight into my address bar I always get redirected to a dodgy porno site! I've tried adware, spyware removers and done a virus check and I still can't change it. Please help its driving me insane!

i took the advice of my online friend to run my spybot&destroy scan in safe mode. it did the same thing, it cut off before the scan could finish. now what do i do i also ran adware it did just find but i can't tell if it really solved any problems i 'm still having problems with my pc crashes. i am about to give up on this pc. i don't have money to repair or get a new one right now thats why i'm looking for a free fix to my problem. please let it be someone out there to help me THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This time inadvertently turned reading pane off in yahoo mail - how do you turn the bloody thing back on again - why can't these nerds that think up these applications realise that people make mistakes and that 'UNDO BUTTONS LITTERED EVERYWHERE, might be a nice idea - could someone who has suffered this crap - please enlighten me as to how I UNDO and re-enable my window pane, which I have managed to ascertain is on by default ? Any help would be greatly appreciated !

I have registered on ebay.I also tried to go through the help pages on the website to start selling.All i can see i how to register, how to list the products that we sel,what is being sold the most in ebay and things like that.For a beginner like me that isn't helping.

First of all i am still confused about concept of selling on ebay.Who is selling whose products.What is bidding on ebay?Even if successfull sell something how am i going to deliver the product to the buyer? Lot more like this is in mind and very confused.Can i start selling wihtout investing anything?

I have a problem with an Acer 1620 (laptop). It is getting very hot. The fan makes a lot of noise simply by turning on the laptop. The last days the computer turns off automatically. Should I clean the fan? if yes, how? if not, what can I do?
