He is very knowledgeable. Some days when I try to open my mail I find he must change it back to old password. I changed it from another pc and had no trouble till I got tired of typing it in and finally decided to save it. Boom again, one day it is my old password and another it is the new one. He has access to keystroke. Can he be the culprit or could it be something else.

i am wanting to wipe my hard drive off so i can reload windows can anyone tell me a good free program that will do this for me ,i am wanting to upgrade from 95 but i am haveing troubles, so i just want to start with a clean hard drive since i cant reload a newer version of windows .i only have a 2 gig hard drive (yes i know it is small but thats all i have for now ) this is an older pc i have had and i want to upgrade the windows so i can add an internet pci adapter and 95 isnt new enough so i want to upgrade

Because LiveUpdate is (supposedly) running, I can't
1 disable it
2 delete it
3 uninstall Norton
and LU certainly hasn't updated AV definitions for ages.
I really want to bin the suite and start again.
Help!!

I got this used laptop with 2 partitions; one of them 1.99 gigs, one of them 35 gigs. XP is installed on the smaller partition leaving almost NO space. I installed a bunch of updates which basically screwed me because they took up the remaining space on the partition. I do not have the XP CD anymore, sad, i know! I don't know what else to do!!!

ever since i got my computer fixed my sound doesnt work i know its not my speakers cause i even got new ones and it doesnt even show up when i plug them in .... i thought maybe its my sound card but im not that smart about computers and it always says i dont have the required audio hardware to use certain programs but keep in mind none of this happened until my computer crashed and i had it fixed i mean it all works fine except i have no sound at all

I want to download open office but I have the dreaded dial up and even worse it's Netzero. Netzero likes to disconnect after 4 hours is there a way I can stop this I really want this download. I'm getting cable internet very soon so don't suggest it.

My scanner was working before until my office caught a problem and I had to reinstall it. But the problem is my office installer doesn't have the scan utility feature. And then I realized that my scanner doesn't have a software on its own to allow me to do the scanning. I mean, it did had an installer but only for its driver. So my problem now is how can I scan?

will re-installing windows xp with media center,make the pc lose all downloads and info,like a restore or re-format?also i ran all my security programs and i still can't access my windows firewall,i even ran stinger to see i it would find anything nothing ,checked my add/remove and theres nothing there that shouldn't be,i really don't want to lose the hours i put in setting up my pc and its programs can any suggest anything please.even if i restore my earliest date is the 18th,lots of stuff was added since,if i know re-installing xp won't harm anything i would like to go that route to start and see if that fixes the firewall problem.

I purchased what they said was compatible to the Epson Stylus CX5400 on the internet. When I got them, I put them in and a message read on printer screen that these were not the genuine epson stylus cx5400 inkjets. So, I tried to make a copy of something(its an copier, printer and scanner) and there was nothing on the page. Help?
