1. Create bootdisk.
2. Boot from disk.
3. Format.
4. Reboot.
5. Insert OS CD.
6. Install.
Windows:
1: Depends on your OS right now.
2:
3: key in: "format c: {enter}"
4:
5:
6: Depends on the OS you'd want to install.
Note: formatting will NOT clear your confidential information. So, if selling it: first use 'gdisk' (Norton ghost).

7. Have SATA driver disk. (If you need it.)
Doing a Full format "will" clear all files.

well do you want to reformat it or make a new partition or make a partition period. but to reformat it. what you do is insert the OS disk. it will ask you what drive you want to put it one i cant remember what i put it on but its either C or F. pnce you select what you wnat if there is already an OS on it it will tell you there is. it will give you the option of rformatting the drive the other OS is on. you reformat the one the OS is on. it will take a little bit to reformat. after that it will start to install it. at one point it will ask you for the cd key to continue. the cd is a really long bunch of letters and numbers. theres something like 20 of them. the cd key is usually somewhere on the case the OS disk came on or its somewhere in the box. you"ll be able to recognize it. its a whole bunch of letters and numbers with a dash between every five or so. after that is pretty strait forwar. once it ends your system should reboot(restart) and if it doesnt restart it yourself. if this doesnt work email me and i can tell you one other way i know of. its very similar but it has a few minor differences. good luck!

before powering up ur computer, put the os cd that u want. assuming that ur os is xp, put the xp cd then power up ur pc usually from the bios, upon powering the cpu it reads first the floppy drive , then the cd and last is ur hard disk. since u put a cd in your cd drive, it will read this first, then just follow the instructions, then you will come across to a question where it will ask u to format ur drive (c) then just say yes then xp os will be installed on the drive that u specified. hope i answered ur question clearly.

This is pretty easy. Just insert your windows XP cd and restart your system
You will get a message that says "to boot from cd press any key" do just that, Press any key.
It will load the NT loader program (nt loader = bunch of windows files) Once it is done just follow the screen. You have to press F to format and install windows. Really easy.
