I mean it does cause accidents and it is disrespectful and i think it is a way of provoking someone. I usually look at the person behind me and it's some soccer mom talking on her cell phone. My "friend" says that people do it because they probably have somewhere to go, but don't i have somwhere to go to? does that mean i need to deal with the a**hole behind me while im getting there just because im not in a hurry? and where are they going? because every time i get to where i'm going their never there. When I drive I like to look around, to the side at a tree or whatever, but it always seems that the person behind me dosen't respect that. It really bothers me and I want to beat the s**t out of them! how come people are brave like wolves in they're cars but when they get out of their cars they're like sheep?

to 70MPH. This way there should be a reduction on speed related deaths and would mean people being less likely to get points/disqualified/fined etc....I know you would still be able to exceed the limit in 30/40/50 mph areas but at least there would be no excuses on the motorway.... Is it because it is not cost effective?... stifles consumer choice?..government wont benefit from loss of revenue?... or they can be ar$$ed?

people in regular vehicles (car. truck, etc.) are required to wear seatbelts, however state police and others do not have to wear them. the one think that i am conserned about is that i have to wear my seatbelt and receive a 50-100 dollar fine if caught without it, yet our children travel to and from scool every day mon-fri and busses are not required to have nor are they equiped with seatbelts to protect our childen. what do you think about it.

A dove flew right into the front window to my car on the freeway while I was driving 65. I feel so horrible. It was trying to get its wing up to fly away and it just couldn't and it hit my windshield. I couldn't do anything. I feel so sad and guilty. I looked in my rear view mirror and it was still trying to fly up words threw traffic.

i'm having a hell of a time finding these statistics for my brother. i'm a little concerned about his drinking and fear he may drink and drive. when i told him "i don't really care of you drink, just don't drink and drive" he challenged me, saying "bah, i'd really like to see the statistics of alcohol related car accidents vs. car accidents caused by sober people. i bet alcohol-related accidents are just a tiny little percentage... most accidents are just caused by people being stupid." all i've been able to find is that in 2005 39% of all fatalities were alcohol-related... but i'd really like to find the percentage of ALL car accidents caused by alcohol, including non-fatalities. can anyone help me? point me in the right direction? anyone know it off-hand? thanks guys :)

A relative of mine was recently in a car accident. He ran into a neighbour's parked car when he swerved to miss hitting a ball that rolled onto the road (thinking a child would follow). He is on his full license (black and has 12 demerit points). When the policeman came he said that my relative would go to court and lose his license, he then measured skid marks on the road (from other people's cars) and interviewed neighbours who were not present at the accident and who did not witness it? Does anyone know whether this could go to court and what police/witness protocol is? eg. can police use witnesses who did not witness the accident?

Is it possible for a car (front) windshield to shatter in a "million" pieces or does it only brake in bigger pieces? I'm not only talking about smaller accidents, i'm talking about from HUGE accidents or even bombings? I'm just trying to settle a bet with a friend.

Thanks
