Mufflers...Ect.
I need a list can you help find one for me?

I want to know b/c if they pull me over for somthing that aint wrong i can pull out a paper and show them...i need a list of whats illegal in Kittanning,Pennsylvania please

they love people like you. you tell them somebody on yahoo told its legal. you need to go to your state website. its not community guidlines its state law that regulates your vehicle.

Colt is generally correct (about the illegal stuff that is...) but those items are illegal in most, if not all, states. But since I really don't know the specific answers, I'd recommend discussing this matter with someone who conducts vehicle inspections in your state. I'm sure he/she could cite several things that would be illegal on vehicles.

Addition of non-standard lighting (neon lights, under-vehicle lights),
Alteration or removal of air pollution and emissions control device
Modification of vehicle ground clearance ("lowered" or "raised" vehicles),
Removal of mufflers and other sound-control devices, and
Window tinting (especially tinting of windshield or driver/front passenger side windows).
These are some of the basics
Though one misconception a lot of people have is with NOS, it is not illegal for a car to be modified to use NOS, though it is illegal for a car to be running with the tanks in it.
It may have not been necessary for me to add that though a lot of people don't know that.
To the people below I tried the Pennsylvania dot site and had no luck at finding anything that deals with modifications that are illegal, you go and try to search it for this information at http://www.dot.state.pa.us/
And she asked what is illegal I told her what was illegal,
no offense to Americans in general this is why foreigners regard Americans as stupid cause you don't and can't see what the purpose behind something is...

Are you asking TO make your car illegal or to see if you have anything illegal?
Chances are if you are pulled over, they can PROVE that what they say is illegal, is illegal. Why risk it?
