as to the question I asume you live in a state that does not have a helmet law.
the reason for seat belt laws is for the protection of life it is also another way to generate revanue
It is soon that the federal government will require implementation of a helmet law for all states or face loosing federal highway funding as they did with the seatbelt law.
As a Retired Paramedic and Reserve Traffic Officer for Okanagan County I can attest to the fact that Seatbelts do save lives and so do wearing helmets Even though I now live in a state that does not have a Helmet law I still where one

There are laws for motorcycles and if you violate them you'll get a ticket.
If you mean a seat belt law, the National Safety Foundation has agreed that it is unsafe to attach yourself to a motorcycle. In fact there should be a helmet law for auto drivers since no more that 70% wear their seat belts.

Yes I do unless I can't because something is blocking the seat belt or I'm in a automobile that does not have seat belts. Like buses for example.

Motorcycles by design cannot be safe. But cars CAN be safe with only a single click. But the opposite is that you don't have to wear helmets while driving a car.

Why should anyone care if another adult chooses not to wear a seat belt.Its their life not yours.These laws were bought by insurance companies.I have yet to see belts for children on school buses.Hmmm!

there are motorcycle vilolations...not wearing a steat blet is like not wearing a helmet.....and there are same violations...like not using the turn signal when you turn...there is even disturbing the peace because motorcycles make a lot of noise
