They tell you to look in your car's manual, but my car is in the early 90's and it just says 'back seat'
Um, I know that much.
I just meant passenger side, driver's side, or middle.
Which have you been told, or think is the safest/

Those cyclists are everywhere... they are on the road, obstructing traffic, on the sidewalk causing a hazard to pedestrians... who else thinks they're annoying?!

I am a coach driver and trapped a nerve in my neck because I was sent out to do a duty in a coach that they knew was defective, but I was unaware of it. Once I informed them of the injury they called me back to the depot and took me off to hospital. I was then booked off basically one week at a time, I managed to get the company to pay for 8 physio sessions, but in the mean time I have been unable to do much due to the nature of the injury. I am still taking painkillers and anti depressants ( to help me sleep), and am fairly concerned about how long it will take me to get the full use of my left arm back. I am aslo concerned whether I will be covered if during the course of duty or not I hurt it again and am back at square 1. I return to duty on 8th Jan. 2007, but will be restricted to driving city busses where I will not need to help with luggage, but might need to assist the disabled with setting down a manual ramp and pushing the wheelchair into and out of the bus

force them to give up licenses?

I saw an old lady (looked about 90) behind the wheel of a minivan turning left against the light and almost hitting several cars and pedestrians in the crosswalk.

Why do the DVLA continue issuing driving licences and not restrict them. as they know the roads are too crowded . Come on there not like T>V Licences which would not matter and I could not go and get a council house until one becomes available.?

I am 6'1" and weigh 175. Lets say over a 4 hour drinking binge. How many beers can I safely consume and still drive. I know that at least 8 is safe, but am curious how far beyond that is safe.

Thanks in advance.

I had friends that died in car accidents because they didn't listen to me about wearing their seatbelts. I still tell my friends who don't wear them to do so. I hate to say people not wear them, they think nothing will happen ever. I swear I can cry over this.

Why do people drive slow in the left passing lane?
It is against the law to pass on the right...right Yet you still ecounter that one straggler that is going 5 under in the passing lane. If your not passing then get over. It is illegal to not allow someone to pass or to speed up when you do pass at least thats the law here in Michigan. It is never enforced but since these people are so keen on following the law then why do they not follow the law and allow other to pass. Is it that there lives are so miserable they have to make everyone else feel miserable or are they just dumb and ingorant? I live in Michigan and if your not doing 10-15 over in the left lane then like 100 people want you to die..LOL though it seems. Majority rules and by not going with the flow you are creating a safety hazard. Also why do people think they can slam on thier breaks and if you reaend them they think you will get the ticket...Untrue, it called unsafe approach and in fact they will get the ticket and not too mention get sued. I am very considerate.

Wow I guess I was expecting the stragglers to come out and defend themselves and leave rude comments but thats not the case. I just can not believe how dumb these people are and they are normally middle aged women or older men who have been driving like this for years.

Yes, you old farts its 55 Mph on dirt roads or unmarked rural roads in Michigan. Elswhere I dont know but here in Michigan its 55 Mph and no one seems to know this. This is dangerous for people to not know the laws. Then they won't let you pass which is also illegal. IT IS ILLEGAL TO SPEED UP WHEN SOMEONE IS TRYNG TO PASS YOU ALSO!! Shouldn't drivers Ed be like a 2 semester class in High school or something. These roads are getting dangerous with so many people unaware of the laws. No one seems to use thier speedometers or cruise control. I think if everyone used thier cruise control or drove at a constant speed we would all get better gas mileage. Take your heads out of your butts people and if that pisses you off than your one of them who seems to think if you pay your taxes you own the road. Driving is a privledge!!!

Have you ever change one alone? Would you be afraid if you had a blow out on the highway? I would and I know that I would call for help. Now a days you can get hit by a car or someone can grab you right off the side of the road.
What are your thoughts on this...is it a job your AAA, your husband, boy friend or dad? Do you even have an emergency roadside kit, water and a blanket in the car?
