If you are at a 4 way busy stoplight intersection and you are going to turn off the road by making a left hand turn on to the cross street and you have a green YIELD light, do you have to also yield to the person going the opposite way turning right onto the cross street (the same street you are turning on) or does that driver yield to you?

I purchased a car on eBay. It's in New York and I live in New Hampshire, so I'd be going to pick it up and driving it back to New Hampshire which is a 9 hour drive. The previous owner of the vehicle says the steering column is loose but he's pretty sure it could make it back to New Hampshire. Has anyone driven a vehicle with a loose steering column? I don't imagine it's safe, but just how unsafe would this be? Is it even possible to drive a vehicle in this condition? I won't bother driving all the way out there to get the car if it won't make it back is too unsafe to risk the trip. Thanks for any help!

Can you be cited in California for child endangerment if you're driving over 80 MPH with a child in the car? (I was traveling and saw a car driving like it was in Nascar with two carseats in it, so please don't lecture me about car safety)

don't they know that if the driver in front of them has to hit the brakes quickly they are most like going to slam into the car in front of them? would it help to stop drivers from tailgating if there was a stop tailgating campign like the seat belts and DUI campaign's and we educated them to the hazards?

Of course assuming that no other ambulance or firetruck pulls out behind it. I only ask cause today i was lucky enough to be the next vehicle behind the thing and of course i screened the firestation seeing if anything else was gonna pull out, or if any other emergency vehicle was coming behind me, or any direction for that matter.
