I drive a 1994 Olds Eighty-Eight LSS. Last week when i was backing out of my driveway, one of the lower control arms on my front drivers side wheel rusted completely off the frame. This is not a surprise, as my car has been rotting for quite awhile, but I just want to know of it's needed for safety concerns. Yes, I know the car will not ride as smoothly, or as "together", but is it a safety concern? I only plan to drive the car around to look for a new one and get to work, which is only a few miles away. It's time for a new car anyway, so repairing it is not a #1 issue. Thank you.

On my journey home today, I passed a speed camera in a clearly-marked 40mph zone and I was travelling at 35mph, keeping a watchful eye on my speedometer, but somehow it still flashed me! The same happened to my Dad the other night, when I was driving behind him in the fog, he was going no more than 30mph! The camera is obviously broken. Will the camera have recorded the correct speed anyway, so we won't get tickets? Can I report the problem to anyone? I'm moving overseas in the New Year, so want to know I'm not going to get a ticket (and then a court summons for not paying!) after I leave...

It seems everywhere I drive nobody uses turn signal anywhere I go! Thats why my car and trucks insurance is $300.00 per month..

my car fits three children in the rear with ease but at the current time only holds two belts,both three point items
am i able to safely add a third lap belt,this will only be used for occsional trips but better safe than sorry
can i add a lapbelt or are there kits in the uk to do this

Surely having one in your car defeats the whole object of making people stay at a safe speed. Now people can speed as much as they like without fear of being caught because they can be forewarned of forthcoming speed cameras. Personally, I think speed camera detectors should be banned - not speed cameras themselves.

If you're speeding when its foggy and you set off a speed camera do you still get the points/fine or does it just take a picture of fog?
