1. Report your car stolen to police
2. Cancel/suspend any credit cards
3. Go about getting back your ID cards.
4. (optional) Smack yourself if you don't know your plate #
edit- Yeah and as said, get your locks changed if your keys were in there.

Report to the police.
Notify all credit card companies and banks
Change locks on house / apartment (they now know where you live and quite a bit about you)
Keep Police report incase you have to protect yourself from creditors due to stolen identity.

well you report your car and purse to the police telling them the reg details colour etc also you have to get in touch with any credit card companies,banks etc to get a stop on any cards.also make sure you get locks changed on your home.

File a police report, and give them your tag # if you know it. give them the description of the car. . .
