they teach you about the dangers of alcohol and substance abuse and driving under the influence. If it is here in Ohio you get to see some gory wreck photos.
Basically DUI school which is gonna cost, is just another way of milking the DUI cash cow!
Here in Ohio the DUI programs really mean nothing except money in the State coffers. When the number of DUIs Delcine because people are watching their alcohol consumption and driving they lower the allowable blood alcohol level. Can't let the number of DUIs drop, gotta keep that cash flowing.
I don't know about other states but here in Ohio when a court is audited by the state no one questions whether justice is being served, or anything like that. All that is audited are the books to be sure the state has gotten all the money due it!

DUI classes discuss topics such as the effect of alcohol on the body, DUI laws in the state, and the impact a drunk driver has on the lives of victims and their families. Long term classes offer support for alcohol addiction and recovery programs.

ITS basically a ripoff. a very boring time spent watching videos of auto crashes. talks of driving laws, dangers of drinking and driving. there are some tests you take, that are very easy to answer in fact the three different classes i went to at different years apart, the DUI instructor gave the answers to the test that you must pass to get your license back or to please the courts with. its a RIP-OFF just to get more money out of you !!!!

Depends on the state she lives in. In Washington state, you get evaluated by a counselor, then watch movies about the effects of drunk driving on other drivers on the road with you. You sometimes have to go before a panel of people whose lives have been affected by a drunk driver.

Depends on the school, in California, they have to cover basic driving safety, rules of the road, dangers of drunk driving, etc. However, since all that's boring, there's hundreds of different types of schools. Some try comedy, some have food tasting, you name it, they'll try to use it to get you to take their class.

They should slap her around at least a little bit for driving under the influence in the first place and then go through safety issues, perhaps videos of car accidents involving drunk drivers, lunch, more slapping around and more videos and group discussions.

They are going to teach her not to drive drunk.
The state doesn't want her to run over your mom and dad or cause an accident with a school bus containing the third grade class with yours or my little sis aboard.
Please tell her to pay close attention.

I've never been to one, however I'm fairly sure that it does not mean that you get to drive under the influence for three days....
