His parents refuse to pay for it. The estimate to repair the dent is
$410.97. Is taking them to court going to cost more than the repair? Or is there another option availible. Thank you.

SO my question is...how many people know the Law when it comes to making a left hand turn in an intersection...Tell me, when you are at an intersection ready to make a left hand turn, DO YOU PULL INTO THE INTERSECTION, or do you sit behind the line and wait until it is clear before you make your left hand turn? What does THE LAW say about this? (California)

Ok, the question i have is interesting. Suppose the speed limit on the freeway says 65, but everyone is driving around 75 on the road. Now am i supposed to drive with the speed of the traffic and get a ticket for speeding, or drive the speed limit and risk getting in a crash with those reckless drivers?

I have been high on cannabis many times, I have also been drunk many times. I know from experience that cannabis is safer and you have better judgement. But what do you think?

I live in a residential subdivision where the speed limit is strictly inforced at 25 mph. Recently the subdivision was opened up so that traffic can now "cut through" to get the other side of town. Since this has happened, we constantly have a problem with what I like to call "punk-***" teenager boys especially cutting through at very high speeds. My husband has had several encounters with these drivers! My question is what is the best way to deal with them so that we can make sure that they are being punished? Does taking down their license plate number and reporting to the police really do anything? I am fed up with these teenagers and their attitudes and I want them to start paying heavy fines or even loosing their licenses!! This is a very child populated area where they are constantly playing and I really fear for their safety.

Why? If I do or do not wear a seat belt it does not hurt anyone but me so why did everyone get to vote on it? Children yes I understand they should have to wear one we need to protect them. Any thoughts on this?

I am concerned about my sister's Subaru Outback, which she ran into a bank when she fell asleep at the wheel a few days ago. It ran across the road to the left when she was going about 60 mph, hit a bank at an angle, went back across both lanes -- she got control of it gain at the shoulder. Minor damage was sustained to the front bumper, but the dealer told her that it would take two weeks to replace the bumper and that she might have damage to the front end steering. She continues to drive the car and will for two weeks. The car was not inspected for damage. Is it safe for her to continue to drive it? She lives on a small mountain and to visit us, maybe 30 miles or so away, she has to drive three miles of gravel road, twisting and turning around mountains where one side of the road is often a steep drop off.

Most (probably all) taxis do not come equipped with child safety restraints or seat belts. Can a mother (or parent/guardian) legally travel in a taxi with her baby?

I went shopping in Ali Mall earlier and parked on the third level. I was away from my car for 2 hours. I was shocked to see my license plates missing when I returned to the parking slot. Can I sue the management of the mall? Someone from their security accompanied me to the precinct to report it, but he made no mention of any next steps. What should I do?

I don't get intimidated around small trucks. But I have to admit I feel intimidated driving around huge trucks carrying big cargoes or fuels.
I always try to be discreet whenever I see such massive trucks by making sure I am within safe distance and not too close.
What are the other precautions people should take driving around huge trucks?
Also, when you are driving next to or behind a huge truck and the truck is trying to make turns, you MUST stay put till the truck completely finished making turns, right?

I have been driving for about 6 months and have become decent driver. However, there is one thing I always struggled at which is changing lanes.
I either change the lane too fast or too late. I got honked by few cars because of that.
Recently, I started using my own "70 feet" rule which means I only change the lanes when the cars on the lane I am changing to, are at least 70 ft. behind me. It seems to work for a moment.
Could anyone advise on how to change the lanes at the right time, especially on the highway? How do you recognize the best timing to make the lane change?
Thanks in advance for insights.
