Broomsticks stuck into orange road cones. Stick them about 5 feet away from the curb in a distance to indicate the corners of the two imaginary vehicles. The broomsticks sticking up vertically will be tall enough for the novice driver to see out of his rear window, and little damage is done if one is hit.

i found the cheapest and the best way without hurting ur car or anyone eles is to use a pallet at each end if they knock it over they fail move it about 2 feet longer then the car on each end if they part there they will pass the test

Trash cans (the plastic ones) work great. The person can see them from inside the car, and if you bump into them, the worst that happens is they fall over.

I used the technique myself and learning was a breeze.

You can get road cones at the local hardware store. I'd stick a length of PVC pipe in each one, or a bit of stick, so that it pokes up to window level and you can see it better.

Just put some kind of object in the other space, one that won't matter if it gets damaged, but that won't damage your vehicle. Example, plastic drum

3-4bright oragne cones witha raw egg in top hit the cone break the egg you crashed car.
