I have a 4 year lease on an SUV. I have about 16 months left on the lease, but I just can't make the payments anymore. My husband lost his job and his new one pays much less than his previous salary. I don't want to default on the lease, but it's coming down to deciding between food for my kids and making a car payment so I don't lose my car AND destroy my credit.

When a hot car engine is turned off after a long drive, you can hear this distinctive 'tic...tic...tic' from the engine compartment. I thought it may be the engine block's metal shrinking that causes the noise but it is far too regular for that isn't it? What causes the noise, exactly?

all they are good for is drag racing, and guzzling gas... try taknig a turn in one going more than 30 mph, and seriously, i bet i could get a FOUR CYLINDER mitsubishi EVO to keep up with (if not beat) any stock muscle car, you throw a turn or 2 in there and it would blow it away.

I never knew I was supose to use the emergency brake when parking. So people please tell me how to properly use it. Like all the steps. Like keep foot on brake, then go to park, then lift the emergency break, then release the brake. I'm not sure.

When can I use it. .. etc etc.

How can it be bad for my car? in what scenarios. etc etc.

thanks.

I am taking a Driver's Education class right now and I wanted to ask this question but I didn't want it so sound odd to the others. So I am asking it here. Can you get a citation for driving and getting a blowj-b simultaneously (at the same time?)

My husband and i want to get personalized license plates for our cars and want to find out if the ideas we have are already being used by someone else. I have searched the Minnesota DMV and can't find a way to do a search find out if our names are available. I know other states, ie. California, let people search for this. Anyone know how to do this for Minnesota?

Hi, I live in the UK, and over here nearly everyone drives a manual (stick shift) car, unless your lazy or old. Most of us would be embarrased to drive an automatic. The only reason you would drive an auto is if you were too un-coordinated to drive a manual.

This is why i was so suprised when i found out that americans drive automatics as much as manuals.

This is why i ask, what is so good about an automatic? And Why not drive a manual?

Personally i think automatic cars are for lazy un-coordinated yanks, and when i pass my test i won't have one on my car i am hoping to buy.

What do youn think?
